The Artist
About
Marija Marković was born in Čačak in 1997. She completed her high school education in her hometown in 2016 and enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, majoring in painting. She studied under the guidance of Dragana Stančev Puača during her first and second years and under Vesna Knežević during her third and fourth years of academic studies, graduating and completing her master's studies in 2021. Currently, she is in her third year of doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Vesna Knežević.
She served as a member of the professional jury for children's artistic competitions organized by "Friends of Children," Novi Beograd. She is an ambassador of knowledge and has worked as an artistic collaborator on the production of the series "From the Profile" on the science and art channel "Brainz". Zepter Museum has included two works „Reply“ and „Mirror“ from the opus of Marija Marković in its collection.
